Erin West, MSN, FNP

Erin graduated with Cum Laude honors from the University of Colorado with a major in biology and a minor in public health. This combination of studies provided her with a solid foundation in the biological and social determinants of disease and health, and also led her to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Regis University in Denver with her second bachelor's degree in nursing and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society. During her studies in both biology and nursing, she worked for the University of Colorado and the Barbara Davis Center researching type I diabetes in a molecular laboratory. Her work was published in the scholarly journal Diabetologia, which features leading-edge research in the field of diabetes.

She graduated with her master's degree in nursing from the University of California in Los Angeles and is now a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has over 5 years of pediatric experience including acute care work at Children's Hospital Colorado and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, both of which are consistently ranked among the top 10 pediatric hospitals nationwide. Erin truly incorporates working with her patients and their families as a partner not only to treat active illness, but also to promote wellness and prevent disease.

She has a special interest in HIV medicine, and has worked in community health centers in Los Angeles which focus on sexually transmitted disease and gynecologic health. Having worked for the largest provider of reproductive services in Los Angeles county in Planned Parenthood she has honed her skills in Woman's Health with special emphaisis on gynecological diseases and disorders. She has extensive knowledge in reproductive healthcare.

Expanding her knowledge base and experience Erin's skills also include specialty work in the cosmetic and antiaging fields. She has performed numerous non-invasive laser treatments and other cosmetic procedures to help her clients look and feel their best.
